Information

This bronze statuette depicts the mythological Greek deity Zeus, god of justice, order, skies, and lightning. He is even depicted here holding a thunderbolt. The ancient Olympic Games, the most prominent of the four Panhellenic games, and the Nemean Games were both held in honor of Zeus.

At the time of photograph, this statuette was held at the Walters Art Museum.
