Stall Bars History: Sprossenwände & Swedish Ladders
There are three people behind the invention of what we call stall bars or wall bars today. Here’s a brief history.
Johann Friedrich GutsMuths (1759-1839), a German educator often called the the “grandfather of gymnastics,” invented an early precursor to the Swedish Ladder in the late 1700s.
